As I'm getting in the car after work:

Him: I hit myself in the head today.

Me: Why?!

Him: I was practicing karate.

In bed:

Me: I'm talking away thinking he's awake, when in fact, he isn't.

Him: I'm your man!

Me: Are you awake?

Him: ......
